Coulis is a pureed vegetable sauce. A well known one is tomato sauce.
- 2 large cans crushed
- 2 medium cans sauce
- 1 or 2 tiny cans tomato paste
- 1 large onion diced or minced
- Italian seasoning or oregano
Heat a big pot and then add a tablespoon or two of cooking oil. Saute the onion over medium heat until translucent. Add 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning and all the cans of tomato. Salt to taste. Simmer for one hour on low.

Brown a pound of ground beef with the onion and don't use the cooking oil.
